Christians should not join any group which has unscriptural beliefs and religious practices such as the Masonic Lodge. Sororities and fraternities do not generally fall into this category. Therefore, the standards for Christians joining such an organization would be the same as for joining any type of group. The person should study the principles and activities of the group. If the group's principles and activies are unscriptural, one should not join. If its principles and activities are proper, one can join. Each organization would have to be examined on an individual basis.
