What Religion Do You Profess?

The message of this article is directed at a specific group of people that are presently members of the Body of various local churches. Many of these men have unknowingly been duped and lead willing into the very pits of hell. It is therefore of great importance that this message fall into their hands as well as into the hands of church leadership. It is time for men of God to speak out in righteous indignation against any false religion that attacks the very foundational doctrines and beliefs of Christ’s church. Many pastors find it easy to preach a sermon on those self-proclaimed religions that are easily identified as “cults.” But very few take a stand on a religion that involves the infiltration into the very positions of leadership within the church as well as many of its membership.
I am guilty of at least two sins regarding this religion. First, I was a member of this false religion and an active participant. Second, due to the fact that my father is still a member of this false religion, I have refrained from speaking out. Therefore, for the past several years I have been quick to point out pastors that have not taken a stand and yet I am just as guilty. However, it has now come time for me to take a stand against a godless organization that in its very writings claims to be a religion. So what is this other “religion” that these men are involved in? It is the religion of Freemasonry, which in fact, is not a religion but a cult! There is but one true religion and that is the religion of Christianity.
Let me begin this discussion on Masonry with the claim that it is a religion. When one joins the “Lodge” they are slowly indoctrinated into the theology of a Mason. They are told that Masonry is religious but it is not a religion. Therefore, the majority of the members of the “Blue Lodge” are kept in the dark about the true intentions of Masonry. They are taught just enough to identify them as a Mason. One of the initial teachings of the Lodge is that Freemasonry is not a religion and the Entered Apprentice degree (the initial degree) leads one to believe that they are entering a brotherhood solely dedicated to the bettering of one’s morality. They are told that masonry will not conflict with their religious beliefs. Yet, Masonry demands that one claim a belief in God prior to being admitted into the Lodge. But what god? Such an admission leads one to believe that the god of masonry is the God of the Bible. I know that I felt that my participation would not conflict with my faith and was comforted by the fact that there was a Bible in the center of the Lodge (a mere piece of Masonic Furniture).
Let’s examine the question. Is Freemasonry a religion? Albert G. Mackey, Past General Grand High Priest (another high priest?) of the General Chapter of the United States and the author of “The Encyclopedia of Masonry,” states the following:
On the contrary, we contend, without any sort of hesitation, that Freemasonry is, in every sense of the word, except one, and that its least philosophical, an eminently religious institution—that it is indebted solely to the religious element it contains for its origin as well as its continued existence, and that without this religious element it would scarcely be worthy to cultivate on by the wise and good.
There it is! In the Mason’s bible. Freemasonry claims to be a religion by their most Grand High Priest and from one of their most prolific writers. Dr. Mackey then quotes from Webster’s definition of religion:
1. Religion, in a comprehensive sense, includes, he says a belief in the being and perfections of God—in the revelation of His will to man—in man’s obligation to obey His commands—in a state of reward and punishment, and in man’s accountableness to God; and also true godliness or piety of life, with the practise of all moral duties.
2. His second definition is, that religion, as distinct from theology, is godliness or real piety in practise, consisting in the performance of all known duties to God and our fellow-men, in obedience to divine command, or from love to food and His law.
3. Again, he says that religion, as distinct from virtue or morality, consists in the performance of the duties we owe directly to God, from a principle of obedience to His will.
4. Lastly, he defines religion to be any system of faith or worship and in this sense, he says, religion comprehends the belief and worship of Pagans and Mohammedans as well as of Christians—any religion consisting in the belief of a superior power, or powers, governing the world, and in the worship of such power or powers. It is in this sense that we speak of the Turkish religion, or the Jewish religion, as well as of the Christian.
Dr. Mackey then concludes,
Now, it is plain that, in either of the first three senses in which we may take the word religion, and they do not very materially differ from each other, Freemasonry may rightfully claim to be called a religious institution. Closely and accurately examined, it will be found to answer to any one of the requirements of either of these three definitions. So much does it “include a belief in the being and perfections of God,” that the public profession of such a faith is essentially necessary to gain admission into the Order. No disbeliever in the existence of a God can be made a Freemason. The “revelation of his call to man” is technically called the “spiritual, moral, and Masonic Trestle-Board” of every Freemason, according to the rules and designs of which he is to erect the spiritual edifice of his eternal life.
In an article that appeared in a newspaper the following statement was made:
Masonry is NOT a religion in any sense of the word, yet it is religious. Church membership is not a requirement, yet membership in ANY church is no bar to admission. There is nothing in the requirements of Masonry to prevent a Catholic, a Mohammedan, a Jew, a Buddhist, a Protestant, a Mormon, or any religion from becoming a member.
How does this statement align with the statement out of the Mason’s bible? It doesn’t. With the “possible” exception of “Protestant,” all others mentioned are not Christian. If Freemasonry is truly what it professes to be and it is not a religion, then it is a service to its members as well as to the community. However, this “religion” is so bold that it says in Albert Pike’s “Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry,
It (Massonry) is the universal, eternal, immutable religion, such as God planted it in the heart of universal humanity. No creed has ever been long-lived that was not built on this foundation. It is the base and they are the superstructure, (p. 219).
Masonry even admits to be the Custodian of Truth,
(Masonry)… The custodian and depository [since Enoch] of the great philosophical and religious truths, unknown to the world at large, and handed down from age to age by the unbroken current of tradition, embodied in symbols, emblems and allegories, (p. 210).
Here we have an organization claiming to be the depository of the truth. They openly deny the fact that Christ claims to be the truth (John 14:6). In fact, they claim that the first Legislator of the truth was Buddha that reformed the religion of Manous which was the root of Christianity (Pike, p. 277). In other words, Masonry is the immutable religion that predated Christianity. They (Masonry) are the very foundation of the Christian faith. This statement alone begs the question as to whom was the Savior of mankind. Who redeemed the elect. In fact who elected the elect.
Taking the above statements from Pike and Mackey the question is now settled. Freemasonry is a religion based on their own admission regardless of the their futile attempts of denial. This then causes a fallout of various questions.
First, if Freemasonry is a religion are there then two religions: Christianity and Freemasonry? John 10:9 says, “I am the door: by me (that is “by Christ”) if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” If there is but one door by which one can enter, and that door leads to eternal life, then the door that Freemasonry offers is the door of the thief. It is the door to eternal damnation. In fact, in the Entered Apprentice degree one enters the door of redemption upon the point of a compass and with a rope tied about his neck. It is through Masonry that man is redeemed? They claim to be the holders of light, therefore, Christianity is in the dark.
Second, Freemasonry’s bible is the Kabbalah.
All truly dogmatic religious have issued from the Kabbalah and return to it. Everything scientific and grand in the Illuminati, Jacob Boehme, Swedenborg, Saint-Martin, and others, is borrowed from the Kabbalah; all Masonic associations owe to it their secrets and their symbols.
Regarding the Holy Bible, the Bible of Christianity, Masonry goes on to say,
The Bible, with all the allegories it contains, expresses in an incomplete and veiled manner only the religious science of the Hebrews. The doctrine of Moses and the Prophets, identical at the bottom with that of the Egyptians, also had its outward meaning and veils.
The Hebrew books were written only to recall to memory the traditions; and they were written in symbols unintelligible to the profane…thus a second Bible born, unknown to, or rather uncomprehended by, the Christians; a collection, they say, of monstrous absurdities.
One is filled with admiration, on penetrating into the Sanctuary of the Kabbalah, at seeing a doctrine so logical, so simple and at the same time so absolute, (Pike, pp. 744-745).
What is the Kabbalah?
The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches a practical method to attain the upper world and the source of our existence. By realizing our true purpose in life, man attains perfection, tranquility, unbounded enjoyment and the ability to transcend the limitations of time and space while still living in this world. (Rev. Michael Laitman, PhD )
The Kabbalah ‘discusses angels and demons, souls’ journeys after death, reincarnation, resurrection, and the goal of achieving messianic consciousness.’ .... It is not about ‘rote obedience of laws and commands, ‘but is rather a spiritual tool to enable us to regain unity with God, ‘to reenter the Eden from which we were exiled.’
Kabbalah, which can be spelled with a K, C or Q—is an ancient form of Jewish mysticism, which was formalized at the end of the 12th Century. Having turned Biblical truth and history into occult myths and suggestions, it has evolved through the centuries—blending with Gnosticism, theosophy, (Religious philosophy or speculation based on mystical insight into the nature of God and divine teachings), and other occult mysteries—usually behind closed doors and in secret societies (Masonry).
KABBALAH—Page 1: “Kabbalah is a body of mystical and esoteric beliefs based on commentaries on the Torah, the first five books of Hebrew Scripture. The term Kabbalah comes from a Hebrew root word... ‘to receive.’ According to Jewish Talmudic teachings, the secrets of the Kabbalah are to be ‘carefully controlled.’ Rabbi Cooper says that Jewish mysticism satisfies a need for a ‘connection with the great unknown; we want to experience the secrets of other realities and the meaning of life.’
So there you have it. Freemasonry, a religion, has called the Word of God secondary to the Kabbalah, and the Bible is veiled in incomprehensible and incomplete expressions. Paul says in 2 Timothy 3:16 that, “All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” Freemasonry says that the truth is to be found not in the Bible but the Kabbalah, an esoteric (mysterious) Jewish doctrine. For those that call themselves Christian and yet have not denounced Masonry, they should be ashamed of themselves. For the sake of the Lodge and the Brotherhood Masons have called the inspired Word of God “unintelligible” and have claimed that other writings are more significant than that of the Bible. Masons cannot deny the truth by saying, “Well I don’t believe that.” That’s a copout, (A skunk by any other name still stinks). That’s like Paul saying that he was not guilty of murder simply because he threw no stone. Yes, he was guilty and so are Masons! Paul confessed his sins and Christ was faithful and just to forgive his sins, and to cleanse him from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Are Masons willing to confess their sins to Christ? Are Masons ready to deny Masonry and follow Christ. Matthew 10:32 says, “Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.” It’s your choice! Christ demands it from Masons! Joshua 24:15 says “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
Third, if the Holy Bible is not the bible of Masonry, then who is the god of Masonry? Once again let us consult the prolific Masonic writers. Under the title of the “Deities of Masonry” we find the following statement.
When the mason learns that the Key to the warrior on the block is the proper application of the dynamo of living power, he has learned the Mystery of his Craft. The seething energies of Lucifer are in his hands and before he may step onward and upward, he must prove his ability to properly apply [this] energy. (Lost Keys of Freemasonry, Manly P. Hall, p. 48)
This my brothers and sisters is an astounding statement. Masons worship Lucifer. It is by his power that they receive the energy to progress in Masonry and eventually obtain salvation. Masons have their own religion, their own bible, and their own god and are indeed their own savior. Masonry is a religion of works salvation based on secrets, signs, and symbols establish by Buddha. But let us continue.
For the Mason Lucifer is God! Let us again examine Masonic writings from Instructions to the 23 Supreme Councils of the World, Albert Pike, Grand Commander, Sovereign Pontiff of Universal Freemasonry, July 14, 1889.
To you, Sovereign (a title only given to God) Grand Inspectors General, we say this, that you may repeat it to the Brethren of the 32nd, 31st, and 30th degrees—The Masonic religion should be, by all of us initiates of the high degrees, maintained in the purity of the Luciferian Doctrine.
If Lucifer were not God, would Adonay (The God of the Christians) whose deeds prove his cruelty, perfidy (treachery), and hatred of man, barbarism and repulsion for science, would Adonay and his priests, calumniate (to slander) him?
Yes, Lucifer is God, and also Adonay is also god (notice the capitalization). For the eternal law is that there is no light without shade, no beauty without ugliness, no white without black, for the absolute can only exist as two gods: darkness being necessary for light to serve as its foil as the pedestal is necessary to the statue, and the brake to the locomotive.
Thus, the doctrine of Satanism is a heresy; and the true and pure philosophical religion is the belief in Lucifer, the equal of Adonay; but Lucifer, God of Light and God of Good, is struggling for humanity against Adonay, the God of Darkness and Evil. (Writer’s Note: If the doctrine of Satanism is a heresy, but Lucifer is equal to Adonay, then is this not the worship of Satan? Is not the archangel Lucifer Satan?)
God in Isaiah 14:12-15 gives reason as to why Lucifer has been put in his place. “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” But Masonic teaching elevates Lucifer to equal status with God and claims that the God of the Bible is a barbarian God. Exodus 20:3 says, Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Masons demand an acknowledgement of God to all candidates entering the Lodge, but the god they demand allegiance too is Satan!
It is evident that the belief system propagated by the writers and founders of Freemasonry is based solely on the wisdom of man. It is a system totally void of spiritually. It is understandable that any religious system that leads to man’s salvation, developed by man, can not accept the system established by God. When we examine the religion of Freemasonry it shows itself to be a religion of Satan (called Lucifer by Masonic writings). The god of the Lodge is the god of the underworld. Mason’s are the children of the Devil. They worship evil itself and attempt to call God the devil. So where is the good that comes out of the Masonic Lodge. There is none! All their attempts to present themselves as “do gooders” to society falls far short of the real picture based on their belief system.
Fourth, but not last. How do such people add to the spirituality of the church. They don’t! It is the duty of the Christian pastor to approach those that are members in the Lodge and give them the option of denying the Lodge and repenting of their sin or leave the Church. Many may disagree with this approach. However, it is the responsibility of those that are given much to act in a manner appropriate to their calling. Would we let an open sin such as adultery within the church to go unchallenged? Would such an act go against the basic teachings of the truths held by the Church? The answer is obvious. No! We would not let this go unchallenged. So why would we let Masonic membership go unchallenged? Yes, we must pray that the Lord would open the eyes of the blind and show them their error. And we must approach this is a loving manner with the intentions of helping the misinformed come to the full knowledge of the truth. But there must be no sin within the camp. We must speak out even as the Prophets of old.
In conclusion, I point no finger at any particular person or church. I was guilty of the same sin. James 1:8 says, “A double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways.” I was double minded split between two religions. The religion of Freemasonry and the true religion of Christianity. How could I expect to be stable. Our God is a jealous God and demands from us total devotion and we can not be devoted to Him and the Lodge. One or both will suffer but in the end our Lord will say, “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity,” (Matthew 7:23).

Sorry guys, but the information here as far as the "god of the lodge=god of the underworld" is absolutely falsities. And easily debunked. Most of the "opinions" is heresay and gossip. If anything it's these radicals that have taken the teachings of the Bible and twist them to persecute anything they percieve as 'the other' with out actually knowing the falseness of these claims. funny and tragic at the same time....
