1. They entangle us with the affairs of this life.
2. They don't give God the glory.
3. They have an ungodly connotation.
4. They provide an unequal yoke.
5. Those who are involved are poor stewards.
6. Those who are involved make a poor use of their time.
7. They are a place where Jesus Christ is not welcome.
