What is Demonic Bondage?

Definition of bondage:
"Gk. Douleia is the power of physical corruption as against the freedom of life.., and especially the bondage of the letter, of the elements, of a ceremonial and institutional salvation that must be scrupulously and painfully observed, as contrasted with the freedom of the children of God, emancipated by faith in Jesus Christ." The International Standard BIBLE ENCYCLOPEDIA, VOL. 1, P. 533

What is a Curse?

"A curse was considered to possess an inherent power of carrying itself into effect. This can be illustrated by the nineteenth-century B. C. Egyptian Execration Texts, which recorded the names of the enemies of Egypt upon pottery bowls and figurines. These objects were then cursed magically and smashed, in the belief - typical of sympathetic magic - that the destruction of the nation’s enemies would follow that of the pottery objects. When it was not possible to commit such curses to writing so that they would find their mark ..., it was frequently deemed sufficient to utter them aloud…. The provisions of the Sinaitic agreement between God and Israel included similar curses as the penalties for disobedience. When the Promised Land had been occupied, the curses were to be placed symbolically on Mt. Ebal ...to remind Israel of the penalties which disobedience would bring upon the nation." The International Standard BIBLE ENCYCLOPEDIA, VOL. 1, P. 838

Why Is There a Need for Deliverance From the Demonic Bondage and Curse of Freemasonry?

Freemasonry preaches another gospel!

The Bible tells us that people who preach another gospel are "accursed." According to Strong’s Concordinance this means, "bound under a great curse."

{8} But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. {9} As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8-9 KJV

By being a part and supporting and organization that preaches another gospel, the Freemason brings himself under a curse.
Freemasonry preaches another gospel and promises salvation without Jesus Christ based entirely on their good Masonic works.
This is explicitly taught in the ritual of the third degree, the Master Mason degree.
From the Indiana Monitor we read:
"as a Master, the Mason is taught the last, the most important and most necessary of truths, that having been faithful to all his trust, he is at last to die, and to receive the rewards of his fidelity.
It was the single object of all the ancient rites and mysteries practiced in the very bosom of pagan darkness,…
to teach the immortality of the soul. This is still the great design of the third degree of Masonry. This is the scope and aim of its ritual…By its legend and all its ritual, it is implied that we have been redeemed from the death of sin and the sepulchre of pollution….and the conclusion we arrive at is, that youth, properly directed, leads us to the honorable and virtuous maturity, and that the life of man, regulated by morality, faith, and justice, will be rewarded at its closing hour by the prospect of eternal bliss." Indiana Monitor, P. 154

What are the Effects of the Sin of Idolatry?

{4} Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: {5} Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; {6} And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Exodus 20:4-6 KJV

Are Freemasons Idolators?

We have already seen that Freemasonry has a plan of salvation without Jesus Christ of it is obvious that the god of Freemasonry that has such a plan is a false one. Every time a mason prays to this false god he is guilty of idolatry.
{5} For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. Psalms 96:5 KJV

What is the curse of Idolatry?

All freemasons are also guilty of committing idolatry because they pray to a god that is not the God of the Bible. Freemasons call their god, The Great Architect of the Universe. (G.A.O.T.U.)
"The Lodge therefore addresses an appropriate prayer to the G.A.O.T.U., through its Chaplain, the Worshipful Master, or any brother present." Indiana Monitor, P. 48
"A Lodge cannot be lawfully opened or closed without some form of prayer. It is not without significance,.." Indiana Monitor, P. 49
It is very easy to see that the Great Architect of the Universe is not the God spoken of in Holy Scripture.
"God’s Holy Book, His revelation to us, is the guide in our search for Light. To the Jew, the Holy Book is the history of Israel, substantially the Old Testament. To the Christian it is the Old and New Testament. To the Mohammedan it is the Koran; to the Hindu, the Veda. But whatever book it is, it is the Holy Book for the seeker of Light and that which he believes to be the word of God." Indiana Monitor, P. 143
"Before the erection of Temples for Divine worship, the celestial bodies were often worshiped on hills and terrestrial ones in valleys. Hills or mountains were always considered the peculiar abode of the Deity; hence the Masonic tradition that our ancient brethren held their lodges most frequently on the highest hills." Indiana Monitor, P. 66
We can see from the quote that the ‘ancient brethren’ were not worshipers of the true God of our Holy Bible, but of celestial bodies or stars and such. It is a serious thing in God’s eyes to worship those things.
{2} If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which the LORD thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the LORD thy God, in transgressing his covenant,{3} And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded; {4} And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and inquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel: {5} Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die. Deuteronomy 17:2-5 KJV

All Freemasons are Demonized To Some Degree

The word of God says that prayer and worship to gods other than the God of the Bible is Idolatry.
{19} What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? {20} But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. {21} Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. 1 Corinthians 10:19-21 KJV

While we must stop short of saying that all Freemasons are demon possessed, we must accurately state that all Freemasons are demonized to some extent because all Freemasons commit Idolatry.
Beginning with the first degree of the Blue Lodge and all through the rest of the degrees of Masonry, the Mason prays to a god, they call The Grand Architect of the Universe (G.A.O.T.U.).
This Masonic god is clearly not the God of the Bible because he promises salvation to Masons on the basis of their works, without faith in Jesus Christ.
It does not matter that the Mason protests, "It does not mean that to me," because it does not matter what we think Idolatry is, it matters what God says that Idolatry is.

What does a person do to become Free from the demonic bondage and curse of Freemasonry?

The new birth into the Kingdom of God is the path to deliverance from the demonic bondage and cursed of Freemasonry.
{13} Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Colossians 1:13 KJV

We enter the kingdom of God when we are born again.

{3} Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3 KJV

To experience the "New Birth" we must be willing to repent and believe.

{15} And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:15 KJV

What is Repentance?

"The change wrought in repentance is so deep and radical as to affect the whole spiritual nature and involve the entire personality, including the intellect, the emotions, and the will.
A. intellect. Repentance is that change of a sinner’s mind that leads him or her to turn from evil ways and live. Intellectually, human beings must apprehend sin as unutterably heinous, the divine law as perfect and binding, and themselves as falling short of the requirements of a holy God.
B. emotions….A change in emotional attitude is necessarily involved in genuine repentance. A penitent cannot be emotionally indifferent to sin. Before there can be a hearty turning away from unrighteousness, there must be a consciousness of sins effect on humanity and its offensiveness to God…True repentance involves not only a conviction of personal sinfulness but also an earnest appeal to God to forgive according to His mercy.
C. Will….The demand for repentance clearly implies human free will and individual responsibility, but it is equally clear that God is represented as taking the initiative in repentance….Sackcloth for the body and remorse for the soul are not to be confused with a determined abandonment of sin and a return to God. The International Standard BIBLE ENCYCLOPEDIA, VOL. 1, P. 136-173
{13} He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Proverbs 28:13 KJV

{ 19} Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; Acts 3:19 KJV

A person is born again when they repent and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel is the good news that even though every human being is born a sinner and separated from God. Jesus Christ was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life so that he could die in our place as a sinless substitute. Jesus death on the cross paid the sin debt for the whole human race. When we repent and believe that Jesus death on the cross was for our sins we are born again.
{8} For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: {9} Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV

{9} That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. {10} For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans10:9-10 KJV

What happens when we are born again?

We receive forgiveness of sins
We receive a new nature
We become dead to sin
We are totally cleansed
We receive forgiveness of sins.
{7} In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Ephesians 1:7 KJV

{12} As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Psalms 103:12 KJV

{19} He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Micah 7:19 KJV

We receive a new nature from God that gives us the desire and the ability to serve him.

{4} Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 1:4 KJV

{13} For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Philippians 2:13 KJV

{19} What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 1 Corinthians 6:19 KJV

We become dead to sin at the moment of rebirth and we are totally cleansed and forgiven.

{1} What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? {2} God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? {3} Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Romans 6:1-3 KJV

{13} For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:13 KJV

When a Freemason has come to the place where he is born again and totally cleansed from his sin, it is necessary for him to pray additional prayers to release to obtain freedom in Christ?
In the opinion of this ministry the answer is, "No."

The obvious question is, "If this is true why do so many Christians struggle with sin and spiritual problems in their life?."
The answer is, "The person either does not know or does not follow God’s plan for victory!"
We need to treat the Problem - not the Symptoms.

{1} What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? Romans 6:1 KJV

" The first thing we must settle is regarding the word "sin," does it refer here to sin as an abstraction, namely, to acts of sin committed by the believer,or to the totally depraved nature still in him? A rule of Greek syntax settles the question. The definite article points back to a previously mentioned sin defined in its context. The reference is to sin reigning as king (5:21). There sin is personified since it reigns as a king. But one cannot conceive of acts of sin reigning in the life of a person. They are the result of some dominant factor reigning as a king. That can only be the evil nature still resident in the Christian. And here is the key to the interpretation of the entire chapter. Every time the word "sin" is used in this chapter as a noun, it refers to the evil nature in the Christian…" Word Studies in the Greek New Testament, Kenneth Wuest, P. 90-91 Vol. 1
{23} For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23 KJV

{5} Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me. Psalms 51:5 KJV

The only way to conquer the sin problem is to die to it by faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross.

{11} Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:11 KJV
(31} I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. 1 Corinthians 15:31 KJV

The biggest reason that so many Christians are struggling with sin and spiritual problems is that large segments of the Church have become cross illiterate.

This is do in a large part to apostate teachings by popular TV evangelists such as "have faith in your faith."
This has redirected the object of the faith of God’s people away from the cross and to themselves.
{23} And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Luke 9:23 KJV

The cross is not something just for the first day we are saved, but the cross is for every day of our Christian life we must die to sin by faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross.
When have died to sin by faith, we are then ready to consider ourselves alive to God by the same faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross.
{20} I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 KJV

What about the Generational Curse of Freemasonry?

{4} Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: {5} Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; Exodus 20:4-5 KJV

{13} Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Galatians 3:13 KJV

Does a Christian ever need to pray for deliverance from generational problems because of freemasonry?
Yes , if the door is opened by willful or ignorant sin.
If you live a holy, sanctified life, you are under God’s protection.

{2} As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come. Proverbs 26:2 KJV

{23} Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought! Numbers 23:23 KJV

Can Exodus 20:4-5 be used to teach that children in Masonic families are punished for their parents sin?
{19} Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live. {20} The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. Ezekiel 18:19-20 KJV

On the surface these Scriptures seem to contradict each other, but since we know that Scripture is inerrant, we know that the Scripture cannot contradict itself and the problem really lies in our understanding.
To help us understand what God is saying we will look at some Hebrew language helps.
"awon. Iniquity, guilt, or punishment for guilt.

In other passages the emphasis is on the quality and the inner source of ‘awon….Job 15:4-5" Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament, P. 651
{4} Yea, thou castest off fear, and restrainest prayer before God. {5} For thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thou choosest the tongue of the crafty. Job 15:4-5 KJV
C. as a condition,… was I brought forth…[Psa. 51:5] Brown - Driver - Briggs Lexicon, P. 731
{5} Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me. Psalms 51:5 KJV

While we are not punished for our parents sins, we do inherit from them specific weaknesses and tendencies to sin. When we have identified these areas in our life, we can make them a matter of prayer because God has not only promised forgiveness, but also cleansing.
{9} If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 KJV

{5} I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. Psalms 32:5 KJV

Can Freemasonry Cause Problems with Demons in a Person’s Life?

The following statement was made by Dr. C. Fred Dickason, the chairman of the Theology Department at Moody Bible Institute at the 1993 Leadership Conference For Ministry to Masons in Knoxville, Tennessee.
"Since the early 1970's I have counseled more than 550 people who were demonically invaded and many of them were affected by Masonic Lodge backgrounds . Either ancestral lodge backgrounds or personal involvement in the Lodge." Transcribed from 1993 Conference cassette tape #15 on file

Function of Demons

"In the NT the primary function of demons is the possession and control of human beings upon whom they effect a variety of malevolent influences. …The Gospels contain six accounts of Jesus exorcizing demons from afflicted individuals….
Based on these NT reports of demonic possession, the symptoms of demonic possession include:
(1) insane raving (Mk. 1:24; 5:5; Lk 9:39; cf. Jn. 10:20);
(2) self-destructive behavior (Mk. 5:5; 9:18; par. Mt. 17:15; cf. Mk 5:13 par. Mt. 8:32 par. Lk. 8:33);
(3) the antisocial behavior of nudity (Lk. 8:35);
(4) seizures (Mk. 1:26; 9:18, 20, 26 par Mt. 17:15);
(5) dumbness (Mt. 12:22);
(6) deafness (Mk. 9:25);
(7) blindness (Mt. 12:22);
(8) performance of the involuntary function of spirit mediumship (Acts 16:16-18; cf. Mk. 1:24 par. Lk. 4:33f.; Mk 5:7 par. Mt. 8:29 par. Lk. 8:28.)…. The International Standard BIBLE ENCYCLOPEDIA, VOL. 1, P. 922

If a person is in demonic bondage because of Freemasonry or any other reason, the demon has to go when the person repents and turns to Christ for salvation.

{19} Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. {20} Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. Luke 10:19-20 KJV

Does a Christian Ever Need Deliverance From Demonic Oppression?

Yes, if the door is opened.

What are people usually told to do about their sin problem?

Get more involved in church
Read their Bibles more
Pray more often
Pray some special prayer of release
All of those are well intended advice, but those things will only lead the person to works and will assure certain failure.
To do tell people to do those things is to teach sanctification by works.

Can Satan Overpower a Christian’s Will?

{15} For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. Romans 7:15 KJV

{18} For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. Romans 7:18 KJV

Understanding Romans 6,7,8
"The key word in Romans 6 is "machinery.’ Here we have the mechanics of the Spirit-filled life...
In Romans 7 we see the monkey wrench, self dependence….
In Romans 8 we have the dynamics of the Spirit-filled life." Word Studies in the Greek New Testament, Kenneth Wuest, P. 91 Vol. 1

The Three Laws

The Law of the Inward Man
{21} I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. {22} For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: Romans 7:21-22 KJV

The Law of Sin
{23} But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. {24} O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? Romans 7:23-24 KJV

The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ
{25} I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Romans 7:25 KJV

{1} There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. {2} For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1-2 KJV

God’s Plan For Your Victory

The Cross
Your Faith
The Holy Spirit
{16} This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 KJV

{24} And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Galatians 5:24 KJV

{14} For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6:14 KJV

To be under the law is to walk in the flesh and our own self effort.

It does not have to be the law of Moses and is usually a law put on us by another person, a group, or by ourselves.
The result of trying to achieve sanctification by works is always the same - Failure
To be under grace is to walk in the spirit by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ.
This is not to teach sinless perfection, but the Bible says, "sin shall not have dominion over you."
{6} Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. {7} For he that is dead is freed from sin. Romans 6:6-7 KJV
